Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HighCraft ("HighCraft", "we", "us") handles information when you visit highcraft.io (the "Site") or get in touch with us. We keep what we collect to a minimum.
1. Information we collect
The Site is a static marketing website. It does not require an account and does not ask you to log in.
If you contact us, through the project form, the website chat, by email, or on a free consultation call, we receive the information you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, company, and the details of your enquiry. Project forms and chat conversations are stored in our database so that we can respond and keep a record of the exchange.
The website chat is answered by an AI assistant, which the widget tells you before you type. Alex can join the same conversation at any point, and the widget says so when he does. Your messages are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. Please do not put health information, patient details, or anything else confidential into the chat: use the project form or email instead.
We do not collect personal data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
2. How we use information
We use the information you send only to respond to your enquiry, scope and discuss a possible engagement, and follow up about the work you asked us about. We do not use it for anything else.
3. Cookies and analytics
The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies required to serve the Site securely.
If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will update this section before doing so.
4. Data sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate, and only as needed to respond to you. Those providers are Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email), OpenRouter (the AI assistant that answers website chat), Upstash (abuse prevention), Telegram (internal notifications to Alex), and Cal.com (call booking).
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data retention
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence, then delete it.
Website chat conversations have fixed limits. A conversation with no contact details is deleted after 30 days. A conversation with contact details that did not become an enquiry is deleted after 12 months. A conversation that became a project enquiry is kept with that enquiry.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at business@highcraft.io.
8. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites, for example LinkedIn or Upwork. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies separately.
9. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
11. Contact us
