A healthcare startup platform that keeps records, scheduling, and visits in one workflow
TeleCare360 is a healthcare tech startup platform for appointments, EMR context, digital prescriptions, secure video, and real-time messaging.

Inside the app
The real app, screen by screen
Real product screens from the shipped app or live site. Some data is illustrative, but the interface is the thing we shipped.

Patient home. The patient-facing home screen with notifications, appointment booking, and a provider card.
The story behind
TeleCare360 reads like a healthcare startup in the useful sense: one product trying to replace a shelf of disconnected tools before the shelf becomes the business. The idea was not to invent a new kind of care. It was to put the work in the same room: patient records, appointment booking, remote visits, prescriptions, messages, and admin reporting.
That mattered because early healthcare products do not get much room for operational theater. Patients still need a clear booking flow, providers still need record context, and administrators still need to see where the work is stuck. A startup can move quickly. Healthcare makes sure the invoices for sloppy state management arrive on time.
Vonage Video API handled the visit room. That still was not the hard part. The hard part was what happens before and after the call. A provider needs the record open, the schedule has to know the visit state, the prescription cannot float in someone's inbox, and messages need to stay inside the care workflow. Otherwise telemedicine turns into browser-tab archaeology. An ancient practice, sadly not covered by insurance.
Business value
- The startup could show one product story to patients, providers, and administrators instead of a pile of tools.
- Providers could manage visits with record context, schedule state, messages, and prescriptions close together.
- Admins got visibility into appointment flow, consultation state, and operating bottlenecks.
- The original case study reported lower admin workload, lower operating cost, and fewer manual errors after the workflow was joined.
Project scope
- Appointment booking and schedule management for patient and provider workflows.
- EMR and patient-record screens for visit context.
- Virtual consultation workflow with Vonage Video API calls and real-time messaging.
- Digital prescription generation and patient-record updates.
- Admin analytics for platform performance and operational visibility.
- Azure deployment with identity, storage, secrets, and API management.
Deliverables
- Patient portal for booking, visit status, messages, and record access.
- Provider workspace for schedule, patient context, consultation notes, and prescriptions.
- Admin dashboard for users, appointments, activity, and platform health.
- SignalR messaging surfaces for real-time visit communication.
- Vonage Video API integration for remote consultations.
- Azure application, database, blob storage, identity, and key management setup.

Frequently asked
How should we read the metrics?
The 40%, 25%, and 90% figures come from the original public TeleCare360 case study. We keep them attributed to that source instead of treating them as newly audited results.
Can you build this on our existing healthcare platform?
Yes. The useful pattern is the workflow boundary: scheduling, records, visit state, prescriptions, messages, and admin visibility tied together without forcing a full rewrite first.
Does this replace an EMR?
It can, but it does not have to. For many teams, the cleanest option is a patient-management layer around the record systems they already use, with visit state and communication handled in one place.
What makes telemedicine workflow hard?
The call is only one event. The hard part is keeping appointment state, record context, messages, prescriptions, and admin reporting consistent before and after that call.
